I lost some throttle response and would like it back.
I installed new valve seals to cure my start up smoking problem, and after getting the valves adjusted, it seems I don't have the same amount of power that I used to. Did I do something wrong? I adjusted the valves while the engine was running, backed the rockers off til I heard clicking, then went @ 5/8 - 3/4 turn. It runs real smooth, but lost something. Anybody have a suggestion? Thanks..
the rocker adjustment shouldn't hurt your power, but there isn't much else you changed except the rocker adjustment. it sounds like you got it right, i usually only go 1/2 turn. guess you could run the valves again and see if it makes any differance.
