For over 8 years, my 86 z28, with a 305 TPI, has had a "minor" coolant leak issue. On the passenger side, on top of the intake manifold, right by the valve cover, I would get little recurring puddles of coolant. A local Chevy dealer couldn't find the source a couple years ago (not surprised). It just started to leak profusely and I barely got it home last night as the Temp. passed 250 degrees, and my motor was belching steam and dripping coolant . Any other 305TPIs out there with this problem? Any thoughts on where this leak is coming from (hoses are fine), what is in involved in fixing it, $COST$, etc....THANK YOU!
