Valve cover hole hose fitting?

I want to connect a hose to the hole in my valve cover (1.25" diam) the hose should be large, around 1.25" diameter like the hole in the cover........

Anyone knows any part nbr/size for a 90 deg fitting I could use? Will order from summit..............

This AN and NPT stuff is very confusing we only use metric system in sweden........

/N.

what you'd want is a grommet. a rubber bushing the od would fit the hole in the valve cover and the id would fit your hose. you wouldn't use a hose the same size as the hole in the valve cover.

What's this hose for?

Summit sells both regular and baffled grommets (for use with breathers).

<A HREF="http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=SUM-G3411&N=120%20300038">Regular grommet for PCV valves</A>

The only grommets for the valve cover size you will find advertised at summit are the PCV/breather kind. You could probably call them and try to find something else if that is not what you need.

What is this hose for? What purpose does it serve? Most of the time, when something gets plugged into the valve cover it is either an oil fill cap or part of the crankcase evap system.
