unleaded fuel rating real H/P conversion
what was the recomended octane rating for a stock 82 z 28 305ho, i live in AUSTRALIA and need to put the right fuel in this vehicle,
ALSO in the old horspower ratings ,like they used in the 60,s what was the 82 305HO roundabout,,, 230, 275hp like a 68 327 impala ,,,etc our premium unleaded is 96octane ,,,suited for 10 to 1 comp ratio,the other is for low comp motors ,,steve in AUSTRALIA

old ratings,,,if its 165,, a 1960,s 350 would have twice the HP , America changed there H,P ratings in the 70,s,,, i also have a 1974 455 olds motor in a rod,,,it was rated at 210 HP,,, its more like 325HP STOCK
