85 trans am TPI.. the highest readin i can get on the tps is .27 and at WOT i can get 1.56... bad tps or bad connection? anyone possibly know the problem? ok i tried a new tps and i got .29 out of this one and wot was a whole 2.0
I dont get this car i cannot get it to run right at all i cant figure out the tps its throwing no codes right now but it was a old code 34 in it. dunno what the hell to do, some reason the car fired up and was idling today at like 1000-1500.. but running like shizzle and no throttle response. dunno what to do someone give me ideas this car has been sitting for about a year now. plugs wires cap rotor, everything was changed and i just cant get it to run, even has a new maf. I just had some trouble adjusting the TPS myself. All I could get was .26 and no changes at WOT.
I finally figured out that it wasnt jumped properly and once I had it done properly I easily adjusted it to .54 and it opened upto around 4 at WOT.
Are you using jumper wires or do you just have the test leads poked into the back of the tps wiring harness??

Ok now this is a lil different.. TPS is fine.. but i put the timing light on this car and wow... this car runnin so rough i think its missing all over the place... cause i got the timing light going and it seems like it just keeps missing 1st cylinder all over, the light is jumping around and now going at a steady pace.. ive replaced wires plugs coil and rotor/cap. i dunno what else to do, can someone help me out?
