Does it make sense to keep
Hey everyone.
My car used to have 2.8L engine with 5spd, which I already pulled out. I had engine/tranny sitting in my garage for the last 4 months. The day before I want to drive these things to the junkyard, my brother-in-law and one of his racing buddies tell me to keep these parts and try to sell them myself.
Can anyone tell me in a relatively fast time frame (I was planning to leave in about 7 hours from now) if anyone would actually want these parts. Or if I should not waste my time and my garage floor space and get rid of them (I am hoping they'll give me 20 bucks or something).

$20 is all I would suspect to get. You can get a T5 and 305 TBI combo for under 300 bucks (high end deal here) if that tells you anything. I have seen 305 TPI blocks + heads + internals go for free.
