what the hell

ok i have a carbed 305. it was fine, but today i was driving it today it it started to fluxuwates(or how ever u spell it). Also it shakes real bad when i give it gas. does anyone have any idea what it could be. could it just be me needing to get new spark plugs? thanks in advance

What was fluctuating? The RPM? Voltage? Were they shaking and fluctuating at the same time or different times?

the whole car does, when the car is in part idels fine, but when it is in drive it seams like it wants to die, and when i give it gas, it shakes real bad, and like the whole car seems to go back and fouth

the engine was just rebuilt like 1000 miles ago, i think the spark plugs are old though, the carb is brand new, and the dis. is old

I would do a tune-up. Replace the sparkplugs, wires, cap, and rotor, you know...

What was the weather like when this happened?

the weather was real warm, i was driving and it was fine then all asudden it started screwin up. i think i have enought money for like the plugs but other than that i'm tite on money untill friday

Can't hurt its only a few bucks. Get just the regular stock ones.
