Getting my heads PORTED FOR FREE

I have center bolt TPI heads. My friend ports heads and he will do mine for free. To what extent should I have them ported? This is for the Z28 with the mods listed below(350, headers, intake). I'm going to install either comp cams 268XE or 274XE.

The questions are: Which cam should I use and how much port work should I have done? Cost is not an issue.

if ya can get em ported to the hill then get them ported to the hill... if he flow tests them though, i wouldn't suggest any more than 200cc runner volume.. anything bigger than that and ya might have bog problems...

also, if ya get them ported to that hill, go witht the bigger cam, especially if your gonna put a better intake on and headers. if your leaving the induction alone, definately go with the smaller cam.. the tpi stock justWONT keep up. do runner, port the base and it should be better

No, no, no. The car already has headers and a holley street dominator intake. It is a carbed engine with a 650 DP. Besides a TPI engine couldn't handle that big cam.
