Rapid fire plugs

Could some tell me the difference between rapidfire spark plugs. What the numbers mean, my 85 305tpiTA had rapidfire #2 is this correct or should if have #1. Also the emissions sticker says .045 but on the radiator support it says it was changed to .035 so what the heck is it. Thanks

Snooze,

'85 & '86 305 plug gaps are 0.035" from the factory. I believe that '87 and later (with the separate ignition coil) have a wider 0.045" standard gap.

The Rapidfire plugs are numbered by size, sealing configuration, and nose extension. The nuber listed for your heads should be the correct one to use. I'm told that they all have basically the same heat range.
