Alternator Alterations
Alternator Alterations
Is there any kind of device that you can plug into a late 80's 4 wire alternator so it can be used in an older car that uses the 2 wires?

1980 Camaro, '88 Police 350 engine, Headers, full exhaust, completely redone, my baby!
1988 Iroc-Z L98, MSD 6a, Accel coil, K+N's, Airfoil, Coolant Bypass, Flowmaster, Gears, Late model Bose, I like the 80 better

Device?
You just need to hook up the wires to appropriate places. I have a alternator out of a 92 Sunbird in my 66 Mustang. Had to wire the whole deal in and ditch all the factory stuff since I had an external regulator, but it works great.
Im sure you can hook it up with a little effort. You will need the connector (easy to get) and some extra wire and connectors. I was gonna tell you what wires go where, but I forgot
If someone else doesnt speak up, Ill take a look and let you know.
