Looks nice, a lot like mine except I went with reverse dome pistons, you must be running a pretty good compression ratio with those flat tops or your using big chamber heads.

I'd call for more like 11:1 with that setup, assuming they took .010 off the deck that seems to be pretty much standard.

Well I set my stroker up for 10.15:1 with aluminum heads and wish that I would have run more like 11.5:1 At one point, I was running 56 degrees of max timing on 93 octane with no knock. I wasn't comfortable with that kinda timing so I brought it back down to 41 max timing and 89 octane with no knocks, but I would rather run premium gas with higher compression.

I'd just keep it bagged up. When do you plan on putting it all together?

What I would try to do first is get the oil pump and pan on there first, then prime the oil system, and then what I usually do is manually turn the motor over by hand and with each cylinder at BDC, use a clean rag or even your fingers to wipe a thin coat of clean oil onto all the cylinder walls.

Ok i think i know what im gonna do for the paint. Since my dad has a restoration business i asked him. Urethane Paint suppose to hold up to the heat. So i am gonna jus pick out a dark red at the auto paint store. Use it to respray my cailpers ,block, maybe intake, sway bars.
