Diagnose my shaking problem!!!

The car shakes like crazy (almost like im riding on blocks) whenever i try to accelerate, especially at low rpms in 5th gear. Im told this might be becuase of a dead cylinder, which could very well be the case because i had this problem a couple weeks ago and it turned out to be two bent pushrods. COuld it be happening again? How can i check for a dead cylinder w/o pulling the motor apart? Im gonna pull the plugs tonight and see if that gets me anywhere, but beyond that im out of ideas. What else could cause this problem? If its the pushrods again im gonna be pissed, i just paid about 400 bucks getting that fixed.

I found the problem. Apparently spark plug wires dont last long when resting on headers. 3 of them were burnt to the core. I swapped them for an old set i had and the problem pretty much went away.

Thanks for eveyones help
