column cover/cap
i have a 1982 z28 all original and stock, except for the dealer installed aftermarket
cruise control. it was broken so i have already removed it. it left a small hole in the plastic cover thats behind the stalk on the left side of the column. i got the part from the dealer #7839666, but i cant figure out the easiest way to get the old one out and new one in?????i would hate to go through what it described in the tech section to tighten up the steering....im hoping theres a shortcut...
