Do I need to go to double valve springs with 525" lift?
Will the comp cams 911's work? JEG'S says they are good for .530" lift. If not which single springs will? I would really like to stay with singles but if I have to go to double valve springs I will? Having the heads machined is no problem. Are there any drawbacks to having double springs? What sorts of problems come with double springs? Which are a good set that will fit my application? What size should I have the heads machined to if neccesary? I have 89' cast iron center bolt L98 heads.

why do you care if it's a single or double spring? all works about the same and if you don't mind getting the spring seats opened up there should be no problem. i'd buy the spring from the cam grinder that they recommend to use with your cam.
