What size and type of injectors should I use?
Hi guys
My new motor is almost finished it is a:
383 stroker
86 Corvette aluminum heads..3 angle valve, ported and polished
Ported intake and plenum
SLP runners
either a bbk 52 mm or 58 mm throttlebody (haven't decided)
headers
3.89 gears in a ford 9 inch rear end
2500 stall tourque in a really beefed 750r
I really have ALL the goodies
MSD digital 6 with a 200 shot of N20
What size and type of Injectors do you guys suggest?
I was thinking 24lb Ford Motorsport Injectors?!??!
Thanks guys
Jamie

30#ers. If you ever plan on updating your intake and heads you will be getting more power and will start to need the larger injectors. I have read about a few guys on here that are pushing the limits on the 30#ers but then again they are in the 450 rwhp range.

I'm using Holley 24# with a Holley 52mm throttle body on my 400+ HP 383, but I'm not using any nitrous. With the extra fuel you need with that I'd probably go with the 30's and a 52mm TB. I doubt the 58mm is needed unless your HP is WAY up there (500-600+), but that's just my opinion. YMMV, of course.
I actually felt my throttle response was better with the 52 than with the 58mm BBK I had on the engine when we pulled it out of the installation bay.
