More A.C. questions...

Ok, I know that there have been a lot of AC questions lately, but any help is appreciated...

My AC compressor was leaking a while ago out of a bolt in the top of the compressor, not where it connects to the hoses. Because of that my AC doesn't blow cold anymore. The car has already been converted over to r-134a. What do I have to do besides changing the compressor to get it to work again? Do I have to replace the accumulator if I change it? If I do replace the accumulator do I have to evacuate the system? Can I charge the system on my own and what is needed?

Thanks, Mike

Im having problems with ac now also "hop in the boat " I wouldsay that its not nessasary to change the acumulator but if you have the means you might as well do it just to make sure there will be no unforseen problems. The system should be empty already if you have a leak just pull the vale out and let it drain there probably not much in it if any. You can do it yourself its fairly east take less than 10 to charge once its all togather.
Good Luck and "stay Cool "
