anyone use the cc306 cam?
I have the TPIS ZZ9 cam right now, but I'm thinking of swapping to the almighty CC306 when i get the Miniram. I know a lot of LT1 people use this cam, but how does it work with our motors with the Miniram? I just want to see if anyone is actually has this one. I'm shooting for hi 11's on motor, like I see the LT1's doing with this cam.

The CC306 is a great cam. But, it is a BIG cam ... no doubt about it. 230/244 on a 112LSA. I just installed a similar cam in my IROC. In order to make this thing run good you will need several things ....
1) The ability to program your own chips.
2) Heads that can REALLY REALLY flow.
Also keep in mind that there is no way that you are going to make it into the 11's without traction. Since you have a manual this means dumping the clutch at around 4-5K with slicks. In order to do that you will need a 12-bolt or 9" along with a good 3.5" heavy duty driveshaft.
Some old pics of my cam install along with further porting of my AFR190s are here...

Best Time = 12.244 @ 112.51mph (1.778 60' / 7.819@88.32mph in the 1/8)
All Natural. No Force. No Drugs. Stock Bottom End. Stock Body Panels.
Gunning for NA 11's with bigger cam, bigger stall, and bigger exhaust.

TRAXION: What are the specs on your cam? It looks like the specs on your site are for the old cam..?? ..I'm guessing.
I have the Edelbrock performer RPM heads. They're just ok IMO. I really want Brodix, or maybe AFR's (210cc). But I think these will do good with the cc306/miniram combo.
