Where can I buy factory valve covers?
I checked eBay, ThirdGen.Org classifieds, and GM Performance Parts. I can't seem to find factory stamped-steel valve covers for '80s Camaros and Firebirds. I'm referring to the kind with the ribbing that goes down the length of the cover.
I put a different set of heads on my car that requires me to change over to perimeter-bolt valve covers, but I want to maintain as much of a stock look as possible... so aftermarket is completely out. Any ideas?

You can try here and see if any of them trip your trigger http://www.paceparts.com/index.asp?P...S&Category=884 otherwise it's probably time for a trip to your local dealer. They'll have them.

Thanks, RB. It doesn't look like Pace sells factory replacements, nor does a place like Classic Industries. My Chevy dealer tells me that they've been discontinued, too.
I guess I'll just have to keep an eye out at the junkyard.

I have a pair I'll sell you. They are the finned ones you're talking about. They are in good condition. I put on non-centerbolt aluminum heads so I couldn't use them. Email me @ Jkovacs01@aol.com if you're interested. $30 plus S/H.
