which fuse???
There's either an inline pump near the battery or one in the fusebox labeled "FP/INJ". My car had both.. *shrug* heh so I just unplugged both. If you start it up you'll know right away if it's the right one because your car's running like poopoo. My car never did quite die though, even though I could see that there was no gas coming out of the injectors. It was weird. I turned it off, and then it wouldn't come back on, so I went ahead and changed my fuel filter anyways..
Here's some pointers if this is your first time.
If you're going to raise the car any, raise the front end so gas doesn't just run out of the gas tank constantly.
Depressurize the gas tank. (i.e., take off the gas cap.) But put it back on, otherwise the gas will be able to drip freely like that too.
You're going to lose some gas. Period. No biggie, just don't lay directly under the fuel filter with your mouth open while you're taking it off
You can try to clamp the rubber fuel lines near the top of the tank if you want, but .. why bother.
When putting the filter on, (aside from making sure the arrow's pointed the right way), don't screw one of the bolts all the way on, and then try the other.. I did that and I couldn't get the other one on to save my life. So I started with the other one all the way on and then I couldn't get the first one on. heh. Instead, start one of them just enough to get it on, and then start the other one. Then you shouldn't have a problem tightening both of them.
Oh yeah, and no smoking.

don't worry about looking for any fuses or anything like that. there is a plug and wire that is plugged in right up near the the gas tank. you should see it when you're under there. just unplug that, turn your car on, and let it run til it stalls out. now you're ready to change the filter.
