flywheel question?

Axle/Gears: 4th Gen/3.42
wouldn't work, The T56 uses a different flywheel, bellhousing, and pressure plate. The flywheel is 14'' in diameter and has 168 teeth.
so definatly wont work then?? what is the size of the one i will need to bolt my t5 to my lt1. i have a old 2 peice one now but im looking for a 1 peice thats all i know. will a clutch off a old 2 piece flywheel fit on a newer one??

Right, the T-56 flywheel will definitely not work with a T-5 clutch setup.
The flywheel from a 86-92 305 will bolt right up to the LT1. I'd try to find the lighter weight one, that came on TPI motors; instead of the heavier one from TBIs.
Yes the same clutch will work.
