I'm looking into tossing a cam into the old LG4 and was wondering what max lift on these springs is before I mess around and wipe a lobe off the cam. Any help would be appreciated.

if you replace the cam replace the springs and retainers too. the stock springs won't support much lift and if they're old and worn there is a good chance they need replaced anyway.
