strange clunk
When I step on the gas hard around a corner, I hear a clunk in the back left of the car. Could it be the something in the transmission or the springs? Any help would be appreciated
I have the exact same problem in my 91. Since the rearend is in some sense just floating there. Your probably hearing the driveline hitting the torq arm. I thought it might have been the springs popping, but I checked 'em out and they're fine.

While you're down there, check the condition of the torque arm mount, it's on the left side of the rear of the transmission. If it's bad, I highly recommend getting a polyeurethane replacement, which is not only stronger, but a much better design than stock .
