what type of 350 is it?
i went to go look at a 350 engine to pick up cheap and it looks to be out of some type of dump truck that he had parted out. it has a 1 barrel carb and mostly looks like a work motor so im guessing its 4 bolt. what does it mean on the valve cover it says
GM goodwrench MD 350

my guess is that it is an internal comustion 350.
Just kidding. Actually, the carb thing is just like another thread on here. You cant tell anything by what is on the engine then. The one barrel carb could have been on any engine. With the valve covers, assuming they are original to the engine (which is a huge IF), it is probably a repalcement engine. Probably a smogged out low compression dog of an engine making 260hp with a four barrel, headers, and a lot of prayers, The one barrel carb is probably a carry over from the engine that was replaced.

However, the 4 bolt thing doesnt really matter that much for a street car. And if you are truly going all out, use a 2 bolt and go splayed, its stronger anyway.
