Whats my problem?

Whats my problem?
Hey there guys, i havent been here in awhile due to some wife problems but I have since gotten the worked out. Boy I almost lost it all.
Anyway I was driving my car today and all of a sudden it started to sputter and the SES light came on and flickered and then just stayed on from there.
When I got hoem to see what code it was giving, it wont tell me the light just stays on with or without the clip in. What in the hell is wrong now?
I looked under the hood and cant see anything loose or anything. What would cause my car to all of a sudden start running like **** and make the SES light stay on like that...?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery and reinitializing the ECM?
You are using the 'A' and 'B' terminals on the ALDL, right?

I figured out what was wrong. I replaced the 'Performance Resource" chip back to my stock chip and everything works fine, it allowed me to pull codes from the ECM but all it did was flash the 1,2 since it cleared itself from disconnecting the battery. Then I put the PR chip bak in and it wont allow me to pull any codes, when I try to the SES light just stays on. So it is my PR that went bad.....thats sucks too cause I can tell a difference from the stock chip. The PR chip last 1yr and 9 days before taking a dive. HMM I wonder if they will replace it...I know I doubt it.
Hey should I tune the car up for the stock chip?

It certainly would be worht a phone call or email. If you have a receipt showing the purchase date, they would likely be more receptive to working out some sort of adjustment.
Incidentally, I'm glad you got the more major problem worked out. Apologize to her for us that we are taking so much of your time here. Maybe if you could get her interested in a ThirdGen of her own...?
