half an hour to an hour depending on your mechanical abilities (well, of course it could take longer than that if you dont even know how to change your spark plugs
)
Do you know how to change the belts on your car? If not, then now is a great time to learn! It seems complicated when you read about it, but it's very simple.
1) disconnect negative battery connection
2) take off your belts (dont forget how they go and which goes to where hehe)
3) disconnect all connections to alternator (grounds, connectors, anything that plugs into it)
4) remove the alternator. I believe there's 3, maybe 4 bolts that you'll have to get, they shouldnt be on too hard, a 3/8" drive with a extension should get it off very easily.
5) bolt new alternator on
6) re-connect all connections and grounds to alternator
7) put belts back on (make sure they're tight, but not too tight, you'll understand when you turn the car on, if your belts are flopping and such you'll need them tighter)
8) put the negative battery connection back on and give it a whirr!

one belt - easy. you will need torx tip sockets to r/r that alternator. you will also need to swap the pulley off the old on to the new one. i can't remember the size, but obviously need a socket for that.
