Ok, this is a question about a 90 Grand Prix 3.1L V6 5 speed Multi-Port Injection. I don't know who else to ask. I left my camaro at school and came home for the weekend to help my dad fix the car. The fuel pump went out and we had the dealer fix it. It's been idling rough for a long time now and when we took it in to have the pump replaced, they said the injector coils were bad and would cost 900 to fix. Dad dediced to just have the pump replaced and fix the other problem on his own. He took the injectors to a shop and had them tested, 3 tested bad so he bought new ones. We put it all back together today and it runs really bad now. By the sound of the exhaust it sounds like it's missing a spark. It has huge decrease in power. I checked all the plug wires and they're seated properly on the plugs. It's been about 3 years since its last tune-up but I doubt this is the problem. It smells terrible, whether it's rich or lean, I'm not sure. Anyone even heard of injector coils? We're at a loss here. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Don't doubt, do. Eliminate the easy stuff first (that no doubt should have been done long ago) so you can approach the problem logically.

OK... we changed all the injectors today... problem still exists even though GM garage said the front 3 injectors tested bad. We also changed the plugs. It idles really rough, feels like 5 cylinders. Engine shakes at low idle. HELP PLEASE
