Clutch Fan Horsepower Robbing

How much power would a clutch fan rob when compared to dual electics? Does the older stock style clutch fan cool very well or is it crap?

It's hard to pin down an exact HP number because of the number of variables, but about 8 would be a safe WAG.

The clutch fan system cools extremely well, when properly maintained. The clutches weaken slowly over a period of time though, so it's rare to find one in a car that's more than 5 or 6 years old that works anywhere near like it's supposed to.

What he said, it depends on age. Also it depends on the type(thermal or rpm). The HP loss is really great if the fan is 'kicked in'
