20 amp fuse

Can a 20 amp fuse on the ignition wire to the ignition switch handle all the power my car needs?? I have an inline fuse(not stock) on my ignition wire coming from the starter solenoid. I have power windows etc...

I'd install the same size fuse as the largest fuse/breaker in the fuse box. It looks like one of the largest is the power windows at 35 amps.

Do you think that'll protect the new fusable link though? I'm not sure of it's rating.

Thanks! Looks like we're still on for saturday. The exhaust is on and it sounds SO MUCH cleaner. I never realized how crappy the old exhaust sounded. Plus it had some cracks in it.

I'd don't know what the fusi link is rated at either. I would think it is rated higher than the largest fuse because more than one accessory runs at a time.

A safe approach would be to start smaller and increase fuse capacity if it blows when you run alot of accessories at the same time.

Yep, saturday is a go. Weather forecast still looks good too.

I bet that exhaust sounds real good. I like that system alot.
