What car is this on?
You may have to bend it. Its an aftermarket part, and those dont always fit right. They are sometimes kinda hard to get in, make sure you have some tranny fluid or white grease on the oring, and I cant describe how much force it takes to put it in so maybe you can get a new o-ring now and experiment incase you mess up the o-ring thats on it.

Hell yea it got to bend a little to snake with the tube.
The chrome makes it a bit more rigit.
pros: looks great.
cons: heat, rigit, hard to read.
Don't worry it, I have one also.
Just work it in there, and try turning it left or right while pushing down in there.
Thats a hell of a bend at the end.
