Car Overheating

I got 89 Iroc and I took the thermostat out. Which one do you guys reccomend?

170 degree seems to work well, just make sure you replace the time at which the cooling fans turn on or run a switch so you can manually turn it on.

You might be able to use a 170°F in Vegas without problems, but almost everywhere else I would suggest a 180°F with a stock PROM in an EFI engine.

You know you can try a 170 degree where you live, if you upgrade your water pump to a high flow like I did, I run a 160 in summer. (I don't drive it in winter) Mine is cool in the summer for HOURS of cruising fun.
