Is it OK to mix these wires ?

Is there any disadvantage of using couple 7mm wires when the other six wires are 8mm?

Basically, two of my wires are gone but i kept the old set of 7mm wires.

Also, why do the 7mm wires have way less resistance than the 8mm MSD wires? I am talking about the same lenght wires.
The differnce I measured is like 30-50%..

With a REALLY powerful ignition system, a more thickly insulated wire (8mm, 8.5mm, 8.8mm, 9.0mm) is good to have. With a stock ignition system, 7 or 8 is cool.

You won't have problems doing what you're doing.
