i'm not sure if my lifters are set at too much lash or if the pushrods are rubbing in the heads..
i'm going to double check as i'm using shorter '89 pushrods in '86 heads.. i'd like to make sure the valve lash is set correctly before i go any further though...
so, quesiton remains... is valve lash less turns with a roller cam and lifters as compared to a flat tapper cam?

i didn't think so...
damn, i was nervous about the pushrods clearances in the heads.. you wouldn't happen to know why the roller-centerbolt heads have their pushrods guides slightly slotted would you?
pushrod angles as the lifter rides on the lobe? other than that the heads appeared to be the same (beyond intake bolt angles and centerbolt)
thanks man,
Colin
