Need help, A/C bracket bolts

What size etc.. bolts do I need to keep my A/C smog pump bracket bolted to the heads and block? There WAS one bolt holding it all together (just bought the car recently, didn't notice) I called Pontiac but there diagrams aren't that great. He also told me that two bolts were discontinued and that the other were studs. Since I have no idea what any of these looked like I'm stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steve

you can use any hardware store grade 8 bolts. they dont HAVE to be special ones.

i got stainless steel allen head ones because they look nicer. cost more though.

i had the same problem.... the AC compressor would vibrate like crazy.. so i figured it was going out and went half the summer with no AC.

then when i went to swap the stuff onto the new 400, i noticed that whole bracked was held on by only the two bottom bolts... the rest had vibrated out...

Figured it out. 3/8 bolt into the cylinder head, the long one ended up being 6". I have no smog. Thanks.

oh, sorry... yea they're 3/8" course thread.... like most other bolts on the block.

they're all about the same length except for the one that goes thru where the smog pump was.
