In order to make recommendations as to what to upgrade to, one needs to know what you would be upgrading from.

Problem: There was no such thing as a stock 350 4-bbl in 3rd gens.

Where did this engine come from? What exactly is it?

and what year engine is it ?
is it a roller engine?

regardless of what it is you should start with some good headers and exhaust ..

some good heads would be next along with a good intake and carb then a cam

Sorry, I read too many posts on too many forums to recall each person's issues.

You never finished answering the casting # questions on that other post. Until you do that, there's no way to say exactly what you need to do.

I would venture a guess that you aren't looking at anything "cheap", though. Most likely you've got junk (performance-wise) heads. Most likely you've got an "RV upgrade" cam, or worse.

1st order of importance is always to fix the engine's breathing capacity. Exhaust & air cleaner have to be upgraded over the LG4 stuff. Then you need to take each remaining piece in turn to figure out what to do there. A better cam isn't going to help if you have 882 heads. Better heads aren't going to help if you have an RV cam. Etc.

Just so you don't keep misspelling everytime, its suppose. Spouse = wife, or husband.

Like Five7 said, you haven't really said much about what you already have. So I'll just run "the usual" by you. This is whats typically upgraded first on 3rdgen V8 cars:

- Exhaust (headers, pipes, muffler)
- Air cleaner (dual snorkel HO, or open element)
- Performance tuneup (playing with timing, jetting, etc, untill it runs the best. Settings not always stock spec here)

These are fairly easy and cheap mods, and are usually the best place to start.
