New intake and WP pics

I replaced my intake manifold and water pump the other week, here are some pics. See if you can count the custom mods just to get these parts to work on the motor in accordance with the other parts!

This is how you get a Short water pump to work in a 3rd gen.

On my left side head there was only 1 accessory hole, and my intake didn't have the bolt boss for the alternator bracket so i had to mod some stuff. To get the alternator to work i had to flip it over and but a turnbuckle on it for tension. I was kinda worried about it, but it turned out way better then i expected. The belts are just switched, the longer alternator belt is on the PS and the PS belt now drives the alternator.

Did you need a spacer to make the alt. line up with the crank pulley? I really wanna try that! And what is that bolt on the adjuster threaded into? Under the water pump i mean.

No i didn't need any spacers. The bolt is a threaded rod that is threaded into the hole that goes into the fuel pump pushrod cavity. I threaded it in until it hit the pushrod, then backed it out a little. I then put a nut on it to hold it firmly against the block. Next i put a nut and washer on each side of the turnbuckle eye to keep it in place on the threaded rod.
