so one day i get in my car to go to work and when i turn it to the start position the key gets stuck there and keeps the starter spinning while the car is running. luckily i managed to get the key out. In the process of getting the key out i destroyed the plastic part of the ignition switch, and for a while i could still start the car with the key. well, not anymore, I can still start my car because i have a remote starter and the key easily turns to the on position. All of this leads to my question, how can i replace the ignition switch? has anybody done this??
