IM pretty sure its the alternator.. i just got a brand new battery, when i turn on the heater and all the lights at night.. it struggles that i have to put it in neutral at a red light just to keep the rpm up so the car dont die. and thats with the system off.. . it happend one time when i turned the system on..
I have plenty of money and im looking for a 140 amp alt atleast. anyone know what alternator will bolt right up in my 2.8 v6?? please
it sucks having 2 15's in the back and can't even play them to their potential.. i will also get a capacitor but i need a new alt.

Come on someone had to have put a higher amp alternator in their atleast 140 amp alt wth.. just dont wunna help me
I had the exact same problem with my 2.8. I took a stock alternator to an electric motor shop, and had it rebuilt to 140 amps. Direct bolt in. I still have the alternator in my garage, but I cant use it anymore, with my new setup. Its just sitting on the workbench. 140 amps is enough though, I never had any problems after that charging.
