speedometer cable Q
Ok I have a 87 gta 350 with a digital dash. When I bought the car it had no engine. I put a 350 in it out of a 88 formy350. The tranny was still in gta and the guy had bought a new speedo cable for it. So I screw it into the tranny and run it up to the firewall. Problem is I can't find out where to hook up the other end. I got my dash out which is electric(no place to hook it up there. I dropped my steering colum and still no luck, I've been underneath the dash for about a hour. What am I missing??

Your 87 has an electrically driven speedometer; there is no cable for it. Just two wires running to a sending unit on the transmission.
