removing the AC radiator thingy.
in front of the radiator, u have that other radiator wannabe thing that has the two ac lines running into it. what is the purpose of that? and if AC is removed, can i remove that as welL?

Yep held in by a rubber mount at each corner and there's some foam between it and the radiator on the sides. I think to get mine out I dropped the two thin cross bars and loosened something else. Its pretty obvious what to do when you're under there and wasn't too hard to get out. Doesn't weigh much at all but it does allow air to get to the radiator a bit easier and makes room for more cool air to go around the radiator on the sides and enter the engine bay as well. I used this to modify the stock air box on my Trans Am to suck in cooler air.... don't know how big of a difference it made, but going to a true K&N cone-in-fender CAI made a big difference.

Yep, that's the AC condensor. I just removed mine by unbolting the fan(s) and removing them, unbolting the radiator and tilting it towards the engine as far as it will go, and then slowly pull the condensor up and out. It's that simple.
