Can you re-gap ACDelco RapidFire spark plugs even though it says on the package not to?

I was told that by using a MSD Blaster coil I could open up the gap .05 and get better performance. Is this true?

i'm sure it is possible, but i wouldn't recomend it on a rapidfire. keeping it where it's at anyway will just give a longer spark duration.
