Okay so I've studied the custom belt diagrams..
I want to figure out a belt routing that removes my AIR and A/C pumps. Okay, so I have a picture of Adrenaline's "Super Duper Snazzy" belt routing.
Good! Great! I just want to move my alternator..
Is it possible to relocate my alternator to where my AIR pump is? I haven't looked at any of the bolt spacing at all so I have no clue. I was curious if anyone has done this. I'm trying to free some room in front of the heads so I can figure out the coolant hoses for the LT1 heads. Otherwise, I'll just put them in the back, but I figured if I could put them in the front and re-route my accessories, all would be good. I need to buy a new serpentine belt soon enough anyways..

I also have studied the diagrams and I am trying to decide the cleanest and easiest way to run belts.
Here's my question?
Can the LT1 serpentine belt setup be bolted onto a "regular" small block?
The LT1 doesn't have a belt driven air pump and even though it has an electric water pump, it looks like the belt could be used to run one if installed.
I hope this isn't highjacking your thread.

No that's fine. I don't think it will work though. The 4th gens use R&P steering so the p/s pump probably wouldn't work. What would be the advantage? I also didn't realize the LT1 had electric water pumps...are you sure about that?
