383 stroker advice needed

Hey guys, Im building a 383 out of a roller 1997-1995 350. Would it be harder to do with the roller block? is the cam the only thing that is rolling? what exactly is the difference between the rollor motor and the traditional block? Will it be harder to build? I heard hi revs are bad for the rollor motors when stroked out. Whats the highest powerband i can get out of this motor?

roller cam, or block wouldn't make much if any differance. you might want to look at small base circle cams. cranks for one piece seals might be something to consider too. i'd look at what parts i could get for the block and price before i commit to a block.

The only difference is that the lifter bores are alittle taller, and there are cast bosses for the lifter hold "spider"
