basically that is what happens.My alternator si weak and my voltage is down can that cause lower rpm idle.I have new belts,major tune up 3 months and when it gets hot my idles get to to low then car stalls,it's a pain because i lose power stearing when i stall and i allmost hit things.Any help suggestions would be good,Should i look for a vaccum leak,Spray some propane around the gaskets ,help.

you need good eletric supply to power the ecm, if you don't have it you have problems, just like poor idle. first thing i'd do is fix the charging system.
