New camshaft installation questions

I was looking into installing a new Comp Cam nitrous HP camshaft in my 1992 Camaro RS. If I get one, aside from the camshaft installation, what else do I have to do? Does anything have to be programmed in the computer or anything? I really don't know, so maybe someone can help me out. Thanks!

You will need to get new valve springs, retainers and valve seals. Along with those, you will need new intake, timing cover, valve cover and probably head gaskets. You will need new supplies of oil and coolant along with a new timing chain set. Expect to spend a good deal of money and a fair amount of time on this project.

Dan's right. If you want to do it right then that's what you need to do. If the cam is an aggressive one then yes, you will also need to have the ECM reprogrammed if you expect any power gain for all your effort.

also there is a chance to take advantage of the cam you may have to go to larger injectors and an AFPR, if you don't have them now.
