clicking noise

When I rev up my engine there is a pretty loud clicking noise under the hood. Does anyone know what it is?? Is there any way I can fix it?? Does anyone else have this clicking noise?

It could be something as stupid as a piece of plastic caught in the fan travel, or maybe a spark plug wire is arcing somewhere.

...or a leak at an exhaust gasket, or a rocker with too much lash, or a leaky lifter, or a bearing shell going south. It could be any of those. Can you provide a little more detail?

I just had it tuned. It seems to be coming from the passangers side and I thought it was the catalytic converter, but its not. I was thinking it had something to do with the fan blade, because its plastic.
