Car surges then dies HELP!!
Just started last night out of the blue coming home, car was surging or hesitaing a bit.
So I go to start it today, it would would surge 3 times then die. If you rev it cuts out and dies.
I'm thinking it might be something to do with the fuel. TBI or fuel pump? Something electric like the altinator? It's just odd how this all the sudden. Thanx

Car: 92 RS - Fully Restored w/Custom Int
Engine: LO3 with some mods
Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 Richmond
If you can squirt some fuel into the TBI unit and it starts up fine, runs for a few seconds, then dies then the problem is in your fuel line.
Probable causes:
Clogged return line
Faulty fuel pump (most likely)
Clogged fuel filter
You need to check the fuel pressure to rule this out.
