help me diagnose
okay here is my problem, my car wont start
okay here is what i have done:
replaced starter and battery
checked fuel pressure (little to none)
manually ran fuel pump for about 4 or 5 minutes
got good fuel pressure
didnt start.
now when i try to start my engine my starter is going
CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK rapidly
so i think i killed my brand new starter somehow
also, when my fuel pump was running, it sounded like a leaky air noise by the gas tank underneath the car, but no smell of gas
i know my spark is good, but i dont know if my spark plugs are.
my fuel pump primes SOMETIMES, only when it feels like it
so where do i go from here?
i dont have the money to bring it to a shop. so i have to diagnose and fix it all myself.

I looked for a week
trying to find out why my car wouldn't start. I didn't listen to all the advise on here saying "change the spark plugs" After a week of chasing blindly I changed the plugs and she fired right up. When these plugs go bad they good bad now. Before you do anything else I would change the plugs even if they are only a month old !

no point in worrying about the plugs until the starter turns over the motor.... check and clean the battery cables yet?
Or tried jump starting it? (low battery will cause this clicking as well)

i should jump it, car has been sitting for a while and the battery cant charge due to the alternator not spinning, so ill jump it and see where i go from there, im not really concerned about the starter, i just bought it about 3 weeks ago and my car still hasnt been driven so autozone can suck my ***, im going to replace the plugs then jump it, if it still clicks, then ill replace the starter again

A "quick fix" is to pour a can of coke on them (regular, not diet or caffeine free). The fizz eats up a lot of the corrosion.
The best way is take them off the battery and use a wire brush to clean them. Clean the ground cables where they attach to the frame and engine as well.
Chances are a jump is all you need to get the starter spinning....
