HELP FAST: How to bypass heater core!!!!

Ok guys, my heater core blew, but this is my daily driver and for right now I am going to bypass the heater core. Do i do this by taking the hose from the top passanger side of the radiator and hook it directly to the intake manifold? If not, could you help me out and explain to me how this is done?
thanks for your time
Tom

What year is your car? If it's an 87' or later, just leave the temperature control on the cold position. There is vaccum operated valve under the hood that will not allow coolant to circulate. If you want to bypass it, then you will have to connect the two heater lines using whatever hardware you can find that will do the job.

TransamGTA350 thanks for the quick response. I appreciate it. It is an 89, but even with the heater controls off and ti on cold i am still getting antifreeze on my passanger floor. I am just going to hook the two together for now until i get time to fix it. Hell it is summer what do i need a heater for.
thanks
Tom
