timing chain removal

Guys I feel stupid... but how do I get the timing chain off the engine. I've got the block striped down to just the crank, cam, and block itself. I'm taking in the block to have it bored and honed. However I need to get the dang timing chain off in order to remove the crank and cam. So guys please a little help here.
Thanks, Mike

P.S> there seems to be very little play in the chain so its impossible to pull it ouff with out removing something I'm sure.

Just unbolt the cam gear and it will come off. To get the bottom sprocket off you will need to rent a 3 or 4 legged gear puller

Yeah, don't buy a cheapie, either. I bought a $7 one that looked like a "U" with the screw thru the center- the thing bent in half. After 3 times of bending it back into shape and having it bend in half, I threw it out, and bought a 3-legger. The sprocket came off right away.
