leaky air tube, check engine light???

I just bought an 83 Trans Am back in August and I have been driving it after it sat for 4 years and now I have noticed one of the air tubes that go into the pass side exhaust man is leaking. if I plug all the air tube ports on that side will a check engine light come on?????

No. The A.I.R. system that you are referring to is an ECM output only. There are no sensors to feedback info to the ECM about operation. It won't know the difference.
